Steam for Linux is a certainty, but little is known about the games that are going to be available. Lucky for us, a small list of games with Linux support, that will make an appearance on Steam, is now available.

Needless to say, Steam for Linux is not even launched yet, but it already gathered a few dedicated fans. One of them has put together a list of games that have Linux support and which have made an appearance in the CDR database.

CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service. Usually, the new entries in the Steam database are firstly visible in the CDR Database before their official launch.

The CDR database hasn’t failed us so far and it made accurate predictions until now. Nonetheless, the information presented should be treated with skepticism, like all internet rumors.

There are a total of 13 games in the CDR database that show Linux support. The first game that opens the list one is Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a first-person horror puzzle adventure.

Crusader Kings 2 is a turn-based strategy game that takes place in medieval Europe, during the dark ages. The experience is completed by an epic adventure with knights, schemes, and thrones.

Cubemen is a fast-paced, action-packed, 3D Tower Defense game that mixes tower-defense with RTS, in a single-player or online multi-player session.

Dynamite Jack is just a space marine, armed only with bombs and a flashlight, and he must escape the Anathema Mines! Players must use stealth to sneak past guards and bombs to obliterate enemies.

Eversion is a 2D platformer that resembles an old favorite of gamers from all over the world, Super Mario Brothers.

Galcon Fusion is a high-paced multi-player galactic arcade-strategy game. Players can send swarms of ships to defeat enemy planets and conquer the universe.

In Solar 2 you enter a universe where you must prove yourself to the resident god-like figure by doing its bidding.

SpaceChem is the ultimate puzzle game. You take role of a Reactor Engineer working for a corporation and your job is to construct factories that transform raw materials into valuable chemical products.

Steel Storm: Burning Retribution is a top-down action shooter with old-school spirit, built for people who like fast-paced action.

Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP is an exploratory action adventure with an emphasis on audiovisual style.

Trine 2 is a sidescrolling game of action, puzzles and platforming in which you play as one of Three Heroes who make their way through dangers of a fantastical fairytale world.

In Waveform you’ll have to restore light to a dying galaxy being consumed by a Singularity.

The last on our list is World of Goo, a physics-based puzzle and construction game made entirely by two developers.

Let’s hope this list will get bigger once Steam for Linux is officially released.
