Steam accounts were recently leaked online which means there's another phishing expedition that's after the credentials of the millions of customers who rely on the platform.

MalwareCity discovered the data and they warn internauts to be on alert when faced with official looking email messages that contain attachments. In some cases they will contain pieces of malware that will take over a device, while in others they might point to perfect replicas of log-in sites.

Once the credentials are entered and the submit button is hit, you can say good bye to your account.

To prevent such situations, make sure you only log in to your account by directly accessing the sign in page, instead of clicking on some links received by email. Also, make sure to use different passwords for each account, otherwise, phishers will randomly try to access all your assets using the same credentials.
