Blizzard.com isn't the only site containing the blue question mark

The original story, as TeamLiquid translated the Korean news article on Blizzard's World Wide Invitational in Seoul, said something about a 3D next-gen MMO being in development over at Blizzard's. Then, the developer throws gasoline on fire by launching a sort of a countdown timer on the official website. Each day the frame moves to another Blizzard title highlighting it. At the end there's a question mark. Nothing so far indicated a Starcraft 2 being in the works (despite numerous rumors), but the fact that the same countdown timer is available on the Starcraft official site, just might.

Lee Sang-Ho head MBC Game, commented on the SC 2 rumor, trying to explain what the implications would be: "Frankly, it's half anticipation and half worry. If SC2 is released in a form that is compatible with e-sports broadcast, there will be many new gamers and the entire industry will develop. However if it comes out in a form that is not easy to broadcast, like WarCraft 3, StarCraft fans will focus on the sequel while the original league will suffer a decline."

What we know - the fact that Blizzard is taking us through every title of theirs until that highlighting reaches the question mark means that a certain game is coming. So, if you're a fan of all Blizzard's titles then you should be glad.

What we don't know - although the developer has set up the same highlighting process up on Starcraft.com doesn't confirm that the upcoming title will be SC 2, nor does it deny this possibility. So until the light reaches the question mark, for all we know Blizzard may be developing their first next-gen first-person-shooter.

Currently, Diablo II is highlighted. Two more to go.
