After months of speculations, rumors and hearsay, it's finally time for some solid information about the newest installment of the most popular sci-fi franchise in the world today. Get ready for some good news, “Star Wars” fans.

Variety has obtained some useful information about “Episode VII,” which it is willing to share with the rest of the world. The first and most important one is that the new movie directed by J.J. Abrams is going to be set 30 years into the future from where the action of 1983's “Return of the Jedi” left off.

Also, the movie is set to mark the return of some familiar faces, with Carrie Fisher unofficially bragging about reprising her role as Princess Leia, which gave her a cult status in the 80`s and 90`s. There are going to be some additional new faces, like Adam Driver, Ed Speleers, John Boyega and Jesse Plemons.

Joking about the casting rumors, Disney chief Bob Iger said, “Rumor has it that almost every actor in the world has been cast in this movie, but so far, the official cast member that we’ve confirmed, the only one, is R2D2. Played by R2D2.”

The production company has also revealed that filming on the blockbuster is set to start in May, in London's Pinewood Studios.
