Up until today, most reports about the “Star Wars: Episode VII” production spoke only of the good guys, the Jedis, since it was all about the return of Luke, Princess Leia and Han Solo, but since all movies need a good antagonist, people wondered who was going to take the place of Darth Vader.

A report from Making Star Wars claims that there is a new breed of villains present in the latest movie, an elusive yet deadly group called “Jedi Hunters.” Calm down, you don't get any points for guessing what they do, the name pretty much gives it away.

The only description we have to go by at the moment is that they are “scary individuals, dressed in black, some helmeted.” Granted, that's not much information to go by or to form an opinion. For all we know, they could just be black versions of Storm Troopers since they check every box in the description above.

The source of this leak has not been confirmed, so it's possible that the report is just hot air blown into fans' faces, trying to get their attention. The same insider reveals that Luke Skywalker has spent the last 30 years fighting off these Jedi Hunters, but that the movie finds him “outnumbered, tired, and in need of help.” Interested yet?
