Well-known publisher and developer Square Enix announced back in June 2014 a new mobile game in the Hitman franchise, which will be available in Android and iOS (sorry Windows Phone users).

Dubbed Hitman: Sniper, the game made its debut one year later and is now available for download in Google Play Store and App Store. Although it doesn't come for free, it is well worth the money considering the previous title in the series, Hitman GO is a huge success.

The same team behind Hitman GO, Square Enix Montreal has worked on the new title, so we expect the same level of entertainment and quality.

In Hitman: Sniper, players take the role of Agent 47 once again and try to eliminate targets, collect weapon parts and complete blueprints to unlock some of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Unlike the previous title which plays like a turn-based strategy/action game, Hitman: Sniper is a sniping game based on the Hitman universe.

It's a fixed shooting game

Don't worry, you won't do the shooting while running, as this is a fixed position shooting game, so you will just need to scope in on your marks using your skills, subtlety and the environment to complete your missions (contracts).

Speaking of which, according to developers, there are more than 150 missions included in the game where players have to eliminate “the top criminal elite.”

On top of that, Square Enix Montreal also added the option to compete against friends and dominate the leaderboards. Players can even replay and uncover more secrets as contracts evolve.

You can now download Hitman: Sniper for Android for $4.99 / £3.99/ €4.99 via Google Play store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.

iOS users can get it via App Store for the same price. The game should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
