Expects it to sell out on a daily basis

Those who fear that Sprint's stores might sell out the highly anticipated Palm Pre and not receive another shipment of the device for a few days should hold their horses a little bit it seems, as the latest reports on the Web point towards the fact that the carrier plans to send new handsets to its stores each day, so that the stock is refreshed all the time.

In case Sprint indeed plans to supply its stores with new Palm Pre units every day, it means that those willing to purchase the phone won't have to wait for a long time before having it, in case it has sold out just before they managed to get into the store, for it should be there the very next day, except for Sundays, apparently, when there will be no shipments.

One more thing that should be mentioned here is that both Sprint and Palm seem to be prepared for a hot launch of the handset, as they are reported to have extra employees available in stores at launch and during the following days. And while Palm is expected to deploy 100 of its employees to Sprint's stores (one tenth of the company's human resources), the carrier seems to have prepared a “War Room” situational center that would monitor the launch, at least this is what an article on Forbes states.

Things are starting to heat up on the other side of the barricade as well, and the first consumers to really want the Pre have been already reported to line up for the acquisition of the phone. And as the handset seems to be so appealing, there are also those who already have it, only in the form of a tattoo, which we must say won't replace the actual thing. One way or another, it seems that the hype around the Pre is rising again, so stay tuned to learn what the following days will bring.
