Sprint looks to make shopping easier than ever before for all its customers. The carrier has just launched Mobile Shopper, a daring move that no other telecom operator in the US has made up to this point.

Mobile Shopper brings more than 30 online retailers on one single portal that brings users all the advantages of classic online purchases. There are more than 7 million products to choose from. Among the retailers there are also some highly popular ones, such as eLuxury, eBags, Bluefly, Shoes.com and many others. The great advantage that Sprint brings by introducing this new service is that people can choose products to buy from these stores in one single place and also have the chance to make wise comparisons in order to choose the best.

"With Mobile Shopper, Sprint customers get a powerful shopping tool that they can use on-the-go to buy products or compare online prices to in-store merchandise", said George Ranallo, director of consumer data applications for Sprint. "The speed of the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network gives our customers fast mobile access to innovative data applications such as Mobile Shopper, right on the one device they always have with them- their Sprint phone."

Customers can set up a Mobile Shopper account right on their phone or on a PC. All they have to do is save their shipping address and credit card information with a secure PIN. They can later use this code to apply the previously saved account information, without having to type it in every time.

Mobile Shopper will be available from now on for most handsets coming from this operator, with no extra charges for its subscribers. Sprint sees great potential in this service, as the revenues from mobile purchases is considerably increasing, with high chances of reaching almost USD 2 billion by 2010.
