It looks like all rumors pointing to a Galaxy Nexus release at Sprint were true, as the operator has just confirmed it will carry the smartphone in the near future.

However, unlike the Verizon Wireless version that features 32GB storage, this one comes with only 16GB onboard memory. On the flip side, Sprint Galaxy Nexus comes pre-loaded with Google Wallet service.

There are few details regarding the phone’s full specs sheet, so we are unable to confirm whether the Sprint Galaxy Nexus will be equipped with an improved 1.5 GHz dual core processor or it will be powered by the same 1.2 GHz dual core CPU.

No word on the availability or pricing options yet, but we can safely assume that the carrier will, at least, match the competition’s prices. On the other hand, the specs difference between the two versions will probably be reflected in the price tag.
