Introduced one week ago, Motorola PHOTON 4G is now $100 cheaper than Sprint's suggested retail price of $199.99.

RadioShack offers a great deal for the PHOTON 4G, which is now available for purchase for only $99.99 with a new Sprint line or eligible upgrade and two-year agreements.

Although the Shack is the first to axe the phone's price, Sprint's exclusive Mototorola PHOTON 4G might go on sale at Best Buy as well.

For those out of the loop, Motorola PHOTON 4G is Sprint's first 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor smartphone.

The smartphone beast is powered by Google's Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) platform and packs 16GB of internal memory, 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, it comes with a brilliant 4.3-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

In addition, the PHOTON 4G offers a wide range of versatile tools, such as the Motorola webtop application, which allows users the opportunity to access and create content from a larger screen while connected to a Motorola HD Station dock, which is available for purchase separately.

A superior 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording capabilities has also been included, along with a secondary VGA front facing camera for video calls.

Obviously, this is a Sprint ID-capable device, which means that owners will have access to a variety of apps, widgets, shortcuts, ringtones and wallpapers, especially designed to meet users’ needs and interests.

In this regard, it is worth mentioning that Sprint ID packs are free to download with an Everything Data plan.

Customers should know that they can download five Sprint ID packs at once, including Professional, Green, MTV Music ID, HSN and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ID Pack.
