14 DAY TRIAL // A new software update was released for the users of a Motorola i1 on Sprint's airwaves, namely maintenance release RBE.00.03, which comes with a wide range of fixes, enhancements and improvements. The new software was initially set to become available for users of a Motorola i1 device on January 7th, but it was delayed by a few days.
However, the update was already released, and those interested in installing it on their handsets can do so either over the air, or through the web, the wireless carrier announced.
Apparently, the new software fixes more issues than one might have been expected, ranging from the PTT capabilities of the device, to various security aspects, or to applications and services that are available for its users.
Some of the changes that were included in the new release can be found in the changelog at the bottom of this article.
Those who would like to download the new software for Motorola i1 should head to Sprint's website here to learn more on it. However, we should note that they won't be able to make or receive calls while downloading the software.
As soon as the OTA update is available, users would be notified on it. To install the software over the web, one would need to head to the aforementioned page on Sprint's website to learn specific details. The entire changelog for the software update would be found there as well.
