Europe has already been 'conquered' by the numerous benefits of Spotify, and while they are still to launch in the US, there's no denying that their userbase is growing. In order to gain more paying subscribers, Spotify launched a 7-day trial for all those who currently have free accounts.

Briefly put, Spotify is confident that once users get to experience firsthand the multiple advantages of the Premium account, they will want to upgrade for good.

Briefly put, Spotify is confident that once users get to experience firsthand the multiple advantages of the Premium account, they will want to upgrade for good.

Unlike the free edition, Spotify Premium does not serve users any advertisements, so they can enjoy their music without any distractions.

Another benefit is the fact that subscribers can also listen to Spotify on compatible mobile phones running iOS (iPhone), Android, Windows Phone, Symbian and Palm.

More than this, the trial period will also offer support for various home stereo devices such as Sonos, Onkyo and Squeezebox.

A great feature provided by Spotify Premium is that users will be able to rely on a so-called 'Offline mode' that does not require the account to be connected to the Internet.

When a stable Internet connection is not available, users can easily access their previously stored playlists and enjoy their favorite tracks.

As opposed to the free version, those who will choose to evaluate this trial will also notice an increase in music quality.

In order to sign up for the trial of Spotify Premium, users will be required to enter their credit card number or the credentials of their PayPal account.

Since, as already mentioned, this evaluation period is offered for free, Spoify will not charge users for the seven days they test the Premium version.

This way, the ones who are not convinced by the additional features will have the choice to cancel the trial, whereas those who want to upgrade will automatically get Premium accounts and be charged accordingly.
