AT&T together with Electronic Arts (EA) have recently announced the availability of Spore Origins for all of AT&T's mobile subscribers.

Designed by Will Wright (who also created The Sims), Spore allows players to customize about everything, from creatures and buildings to UFOs. Create, evolve, raise civilizations and explore unknown universes in this new revolutionary game.

Besides the Spore Origins mobile game, AT&T's deal with EA also brings:

- Spore Creature Creator, available as a free demo for PC, which gives you the opportunity to easily make new creatures;

- and a Spore Giveaway Offer, which allows AT&T's new High Speed Internet customers to receive a "complimentary copy" of Spore for PC.

Talking about Spore, Mark Collins, vice president, consumer products, AT&T Mobility, stated: "The Spore launch has been highly anticipated among the gaming community, and we are excited to have been able to expedite its delivery to our mobile customers."

Glenn Broderick, executive director of gaming at AT&T, also said: "AT&T's comprehensive suite of communications services presents the uniquely exciting opportunity to take entertainment content to a higher level of user experience. Spore is nothing short of a cultural phenomenon in the making, and we are thrilled that our relationship with EA gives our customers unmatched access."

Spore Origins is compatible with more than 50 AT&T handsets and can be acquired in three ways: directly from your phone, by visiting the AT&T Mall and accessing the "Shop Games" area; via SMS, by texting "SPORE" (without the quotation marks) to 386; or by going to AT&T's Spore website, found at this address.

Starting September 4, Spore Origins will be available from other US mobile carriers too. Moreover, as of September 7, the game will be launched for PC and Mac, while Spore Creatures will hit Nintendo DS.
