Though not usually visible, case fans have been getting more and more intricate, design-wise, as gamers and enthusiasts continue to come up with new ideas for making their systems look as well as they run, and Spire is more than happy to build upon this trend with its new BlueStar DC LED fans.

Though case fans weren't initially available in a wide variety, companies have been coming up with newer technologies meant to improve them.

No longer do consumers search only for strong airflow, but they also pay heed to the noise generation, life expectancy and, in the case of higher-end models, aesthetic value.

Spire aims to satisfy all of these requirements with its BlueStar DC series of LED-lit spinners, which have just been made official.

The newcomers have a so-called “special fan blade shape and spokes” design that delivers a higher airflow and air pressure, compared to other models.

The fans also boast sleeved wires and a PWM auto fan control, which will automatically adjust rotary speed depending on temperatures (3pin + 4 pin PWM connectors are used).

The products also come with a PCI slot manual fan speed control unit, for those enthusiasts that want a direct hand in how fast their coolers run.

What's more, Spire threw in four rubber anti-vibe mounts, for less vibration and, thus, a deeper silence during operation.

“The BlueStar LED fans are high quality, LED colored and silent cooling fans for the PC gamer and PC enthusiast,” states the press release.

“Based on the original BlueStar fan blade design these new LED series are destined to be a big hit. Top of the line components and features are applied to build these powerful LED fans,” the announcement added.

Spire offers the 80mm, 90mm, 120mm and 140mm BlueStar DS LED fans with a 3-way warranty and prices of $5.99 (EURO 4.75), $7.99 (EURO 5.25), $9.99 (EURO 7.85) and $12.99 (EURO 9.95), respectively.
