Spellcrafter is a PC game that has been released on Steam back in August 2014. The game is still in early access, which means it misses lots of features and can be quite buggy at times.

The game was completely created by Polish developer Jujubee Games Studios and received its last important update in November 2014. Since then, no updates have been released and the reason may be the fact that the team is now busy with another project.

Jujubee Games has just announced Spellcrafter: The Path of Magic will be coming to all major mobile platforms, including Windows Phone, Android and iOS.

It’s no surprise that a game comes to Android and iOS at the same time, but this could be a nice surprise for Windows Phone users. Usually, developers launch their games and apps on Android and iOS and avoid Windows Phone until their products have become slightly popular on these platforms.

Only then did they decide whether to bring them to Windows Phone platform, which has a very small market share worldwide, hence the fact that developers don’t consider it a priority.

Spellcrafter will follow the Premium Game model, so no in-app purchases will be included

Anyway, the folks over at Jujubee will be bringing Spellcrafter: The Path of Magic to all three major mobile platforms in Q1 2015. For those who never heard about the PC version of the game, Spellcrafter is a turn-based tactical RPG game with a unique spell casting system.

Players will be offered the chance to explore the fantasy world of Spellcrafter, collect gold, interact with NPCs, take and complete quests, as well as make moral choices.

What’s with the unique spell casting system though? Well, it looks like the game can recognize the signs players draw on the screen and automatically cast the appropriate spell from the spellbook.

In case you forget the sign of a spell, you can open the spellbook and look for it, but that will take additional time during combat.

The game will feature 3 acts, each of them with 3 levels with various settings and multiple playable characters (human, necromancer and elf).

Last but not least, developers have confirmed Spellcrafter: The Path of Magic will be a Premium Game, which means there won’t be any free-to-play mechanics implemented and no in-app purchases.
