The keys can be set to pulsate and support anti-ghosting and 6-key rollover

The newest peripheral from SpeedLink doesn't really beat most of the other gaming keyboards I've ever covered, but it has its fair share of perks.

Which is to say, while it lacks mechanical switches (uses common membrane keys), it does have three-color backlighting (with optional pulse option), shortcut keys, multimedia buttons and programmable macros.

Also, the SpeedLink Parthica Core, as the keyboard is called, supports anti-ghosting and 6-key rollover. So as long as you don't press more than 6 keys at once, the peripheral won't choke.

Software is used to map macros (no hardware memory for them apparently) and there are special labels on the common gaming keys (WASD and arrows). Sadly, pricing and availability details are undisclosed.

Watch the video above for a thorough intro, but don't expect an RGB backlight system. Red and Blue are there, sure enough, but the third color is purple.
