Spb Software, a worldwide leading mobile game and application developer, announced recently the release of its new Spb Puzzle 1.0, a classic jigsaw puzzle title that was developed to work great on mobile phones that feature touchscreen capabilities, and which offers compatibility with Windows Mobile- and Symbian S60-powered handsets.

The new Spb Puzzle comes as a finger-friendly game that offers users animation and haptic response, as well as real-looking puzzle pieces that have been crafted with great care, “down to the effects of light and anti-aliasing.” The game provides a number of 10 pre-installed puzzles, but it also offers the possibility to freely download more, or create a personalized puzzle from an existing image.

“With this brand new release, we aimed to create an authentic puzzle game with excellent graphics, clearest possible controls and navigation, and an unlimited number of puzzles to solve,” stated Nikita Glushkov, Spb Puzzle product manager. “Spb Puzzle gives users the freedom to work on even the most complicated puzzles in the comfort of their own phone, any time, any place. Spb Puzzle also keeps players assured that not a single puzzle piece will ever get lost, or that a nearly completed puzzle will ever get ruined by mishap,” he concluded.

Among the key features that Spb Puzzle 1.0 comes with we can count high-quality graphics and finger-friendly interface, custom puzzles from any image or photo, free additional jigsaw puzzle packs, flexible puzzle difficulty – fit for any age, 10 preinstalled puzzles in "Classic" pack, pause and resume options, as well as autosave on exit so that users won't lose a game before ending it. At the same time, the company also says that there are different versions for Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 platforms.

Spb Puzzle 1.0 supports Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher and Symbian S60 touchscreen phones that feature either a QVGA or VGA screen resolution. The game is available as shareware, limited to only 2 base and 1 custom image puzzles, and can be acquired for 9.95 USD on the company's website. Additional Spb Puzzle packs for both Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 can be downloaded from the site as well.
