14 DAY TRIAL // Spb Software announced last week the launch of its highly acclaimed, complex application – Spb Mobile Shell 3.5. The latest version of the user interface and launcher puts Windows Mobile phones on a new level of functionality, combining style and design with the ease of use and fully optimized usability. Spb Mobile Shell comes with a wide range of new widgets, animated transitions, special effects, adaptive skins and management tools.
The new tabbing graphical user interface of the application has been redesigned and reshaped to reflect these days’ needs. The interface has been fully thumb-optimized and gifted with new icons for a quick access to various functions of the phone. The transition between the pages or the different menus of the phone can be done with a simple gesture, which is followed by a smooth, nice, animated effect. Another new feature of the interface is the high number of widgets that has been recently introduced, especially those that regard social services like Facebook and Twitter. Other widgets that can be used include: widget-based photo contacts, media player, profiles, weather, world time, wireless manager, and many more. The Integrated Tools offered by Spb Mobile Shell 3.5 are mainly targeting areas like customization and security, but also Contacts and Communications. In terms of customization, Spb Mobile Shell introduces a new concept of adaptive skins. Basically, the application will change its own skin according to the main device's color. In terms of security, Spb Mobile Shell offers users the possibility to lock their device by simply clicking a soft key, a hardware key or a shortcut on the screen. Even though the device is locked, it will still show them the most important information on the Today screen, so, most of the times, they won't need to unlock it. The trial version of Spb Mobile Shell includes all of the features available in the registered version. The trial version expires within 15 days after installation.
