PlayStation 2 owners probably remember the fun they had while playing a colorful game called Brave. It seems that they are not the only persons who recall it, since SouthPeak and Collision Games have teamed up to bring us an expanded reinvention of the title, called Brave: A Warrior's Tale. This time, even more people will be able to enjoy the thrills of tribal action since the game will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii consoles.

Brave: A Warrior's Tale begins 70 years after the original title, tasking the players with the quest of protecting their tribe from very dangerous evil creatures. You'll have to explore vast areas of land and interact with tens of objects or characters lurking in the shadows of the wilderness. An interesting addition is the fact that Brave can talk to animals, as well as turn himself into one and fight against all the enemies that dare to stand in his way.

"This game is set 70 years after the original, so it plays as a flashback in which Brave describes the events of his life," said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games. "This unusual style of videogame storytelling, combined with the game's new content, graphical improvements, and console-specific gameplay, make it a fresh experience."

The release will, of course, look much better than the original and it will also feature tons of unlockables which can be gained while playing, as well as updated features that will make the game more appealing. It also features a storyline which will keep us hooked for hours in front of the TV screens - or, at least, that's what the developers promise. Unfortunately, there are no details about the release date of Brave: A Warrior's Tale, but I am sure everybody hopes to see the game sooner rather than later.
