A new version of the Soundtracker Radio for Series 40 mobile application is now available for download, bringing along a new, better interface, as well as a series of overall improvements.

The new Soundtracker Radio for Series 40 devices is available as version 1.7, and is available for download via the Nokia beta Labs here.

“We are happy to share release 1.7 of Soundtracker Radio for Series 40 devices. This version brings a much improved user interface and a number of fixes to issues signaled to us but the Nokia Beta Labs community,” the development team explains.

The new app release follows shortly after the availability of new flavors of the application for devices running under the Symbian platform.

The release notes for the new application flavor include: - Completely redesigned User Interface - Fixed scrolling bug in Stations for 320x240 - Next song cover for 320x240. - Song cover centralized for 240x320. - Volume controls on player - Mute controls on player - Added AdNetwork

With Soundtracker Radio on their Nokia devices, users can enjoy access to a number of over 10 million fully licensed songs, which are available for listening while on the go at all times.

Moreover, the application enables users easily create and share personal radio stations and interact with their friends over social networking sites.

With Soundtracker Radio for Series 40 devices, users can also play music with friends in real time, or can interact with people around who share a similar taste in music.

The development team behind the application explains that, with Soundtracker, you will “get free and easy access to more than 10 million songs, plus tons of social and location-based features to help you discover and share music that you can’t find anywhere else.”
