The international version of Xperia Z4 went on pre-order in UK last month and we reported at that time that retailers in other European countries might start taking pre-orders for the Xperia Z3+ very soon.

Well, it looks like that just happened since Sony Xperia Z3+ is now available for pre-order in at least 8 European countries, XperiaBlog reports.

Here is where you can find it now: Belgium (SmartphoneSHop.be), Denmark (CDON, ProShop, Webhallen), Finland (Gigantti), Germany (Amazon), Netherlands (T-Mobile), Norway (Elkjop, Komplett), Sweden (Prisjakt) and United Kingdom (Amazon, Clove, Handtec, MobileFun).

The price ranges between €700 and €800, depending on country and retailer. It's unclear exactly when the Xperia Z3+ will ship in these countries, but we do know it might hit shelves in the Netherlands on June 8.

This means that it might be available for purchase all over Europe by the end of this month. Apart from the countries mentioned earlier, Xperia Z3+ is also available for pre-order in Hong Kong where customers will be able to get the dual-SIM version as well.

No differences between Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+

The Xperia Z3+ is more like a slight upgrade over the Xperia Z3, rather than a new flagship smartphone. This is why Sony has decided to sell it under this name instead of launching it as Xperia Z4.

According to Sony, the Japanese market still sees the Xperia Z3+ as a major upgrade over the previous flagship smartphone, hence the Xperia Z4 name.

But there are no differences between Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 aside from the fact that they are available in different regions.

The Xperia Z3+ ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display, 32GB of RAM and an impressive 20.7-megapixel camera on the back, which offers autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording.
