Unveiled last week at IFA 2013 trade fair, Sony Xperia Z1 is now available for pre-order in several European countries, the UK included.

Android enthusiasts in the UK will be happy to know that the Japanese company allowed authorized retailers across the country to offer the Xperia Z1 with a free detachable camera lens and free content.

For the time being, the UK is the only place where Europeans can grab the Xperia Z1 with a free camera lens, but the offer may be extended to other countries in the coming weeks.

According to Carphone Warehouse, customers who pre-order the Sony Xperia Z1 on pay monthly or upgrade will also receive a free Cybershot QX10 detachable camera lens worth £150 (€180/$235). This offer is available for a limited time only and while stocks last, so customers who wish to take advantage of this deal should hurry.

In addition, £65 (€75/$100) worth of content including top 5 movies, an exclusive movie access pass and 60 days free music streaming will come pre-loaded on the Xperia Z1. Keep in mind that this offer requires Xperia Privilege app for redemption, which is available for download via Google Play.

Carphone Warehouse has also confirmed that this promotion for Xperia Z1 will kick off on September 16 and should end on December 31. Moreover, exclusive movie access pass to the digital release will be available from December 14.

Last but not least, the promotion can be redeemed until January 31, 2014 and Music Unlimited promotion is only available for users who have not previously subscribed to any Music Unlimited premium subscriptions, nor Music Unlimited premium free trials.

Sony Xperia Z1 is now up for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse for free on select plans starting at £42 (€50/$65) per month. The smartphone is not yet available on PAYG (pay as you go).
