Last week, Sony’s entire Android roadmap for the first three quarters of the year leaked via Sony India’s sales channels, along with full prices and release dates for the Indian market.

Although, no details on the specs of the unannounced devices emerged at the time of the leak, it appears that new info on two of these Android smartphones is now available in the wild.

The folks over at PocketDroid have just spotted the full specs of the Sony Tapioca, which, according to the roadmap, is expected to arrive in the Indian market in July.

Sony Tapioca is a budget-friendly smartphone that will be delivered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on any future software upgrades for the Tapioca, but just looking at phone’s specs, it’s highly unlikely to see this one getting Ice Cream Sandwich.

The smartphone is equipped with a low-performance 800 MHz single core processor and packs 4GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM. No word on microSD card slot for memory expansion yet.

In addition, Sony Tapioca sports an average 3.2-megapixel camera, as well as a decent 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

Other highlights of the device include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. Rumor has it that Sony Tapioca will be exclusively launched in Asia.

The first photos of the Sony Nypon, also known as Sony LT22i leaked earlier this month via it168, along with some of its specs.

Sony Nypon is expected to arrive in stores in April, which means that the smartphone is likely to make its appearance at this year’s Mobile World Congress, next month.

The smartphone has a large 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution, which is based on Sony’s new WhiteMagic technology for higher brightness. It is said that the panel emits 1000 nits and is similar with LG’s NOVA display.

On the inside, Sony Nypon packs a 1GHz dual core processor, NovaThor U8500 chipset, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion. There’s also an 8.1-megapixel rear camera, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.
