GoPro cameras are extremely exciting tools for exploring the world around us. And if you too wondered like philosopher Thomas Nagel “What is it like to be a bat?,” these devices are here to bring an answer to this existential question.

You might remember that we shared with you some videos showing the world from an animal’s point of view, like the one with the dog happily running towards the sea with a GoPro strapped on its back.

Well, GoPro is not the only one in the business of making action cams. Sony has its own product and the resulting videos are just as exciting.

Recently, Sony put its Action Cam on the back of an eagle and then sent it soaring over Paris. The images are quite breathtaking, and while watching the video you actually get the feeling that you’re flying yourself.

Towards the end, we see that the eagle in question is actually a trained bird that returns to its master after performing the stunt.

So, if you’re curious to gain some insight into what it would be like to be a feathered creature living in the world, click on the embedded video below and take a peek.
