Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors are bound to make their way in a wide series of notebooks in the not so distant future, and Sony’s VAIO line will be no exception to this rule.
The Intel chips will be used by Sony in a wide range of models from Z-series ultra-thins to F-series desktop replacements.
In fact, the Japanese company even showcased recently a next-gen 15-inch VAIO laptop model which Notebook Italia believes it will be powered by Ivy Bridge CPUs.
We are somewhat more reserved considering this is just a concept, but if this notebook actually makes it into production, then it will definitely be powered by Ivy Bridge processors and maybe some next-gen AMD or Nvidia graphics cards.
Until this happens, take a look at the video above to see what Sony has in store for the VAIO line from a design standpoint.
