Right before the CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging Show opened its doors to the public, Nippon electronics manufacturer Sony officially revealed its latest interchangeable lens camera that replaces the current NEX-6 and NEX-7 models, the a6000.

With the a6000 coming in April, Sony decided to slash $100 / €73 off the NEX-6 price and throw in a few free accessories to make the camera more appealing to potential customers. With the new instant rebate, the Sony NEX-6 mirrorless camera with 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens kit is now available for purchase at a price of $799.99 / €583.

In addition to that, upon purchasing the camera you will also receive a free leather case and a 32GB SD card worth another $154.98 / €113. This is not much of a deal if you take into consideration the fact that the upcoming Sony a6000 with 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens kit can now be pre-ordered for the same price (without the free accessories) but, if you can't wait until April, you now have an extra reason to purchase the NEX-6.
