The two home theater virtual surround sound systems in the photo above are called HT-CT60 and HT-CT260.

The former is an entry-level device with two 60W speakers, a single coaxial audio input, one optical audio input and Dolby Digital Audio support. It possesses integrated bass and treble controls and a night mode as well.

The other device, CT260, has speaker power of 300W, a wireless subwoofer at the back, integrated Bluetooth and even 3D audio effects.

It should work well when trying to stream music from a smartphone or tablet, provided the format is one of the following: Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby ProLogic II, Dolby Dual Mono, and LPCM two channel.

Unfortunately, we do now know what prices these products have, or when they will begin shipping. Sony's press release did not say.
