Sony is one of the largest electronics makers in the world, whose imaging products are highly regarded on the market. This is also the case of Sony's E-mount FS series cameras that are capable of capturing 4K RAW footage at 120fps.

According to SonyAlphaRumors, a trusted source said that Sony had already shipped a new FS series camera to beta testers. It seems that the new camera is labeled FS960 and is capable of capturing 4K footage at 60p, Full HD video at 120p, and 240 frames per second without buffer.

In addition to that, the same source claims that the Sony FS960 has an octagonal shape. There's no other information regarding its availability, but rumor has it that the FS960 will hit market shelves at a price of $12,000 / €8,800.

This is great news for professional filmmakers, who will have a new Sony E-mount FS series camera at their disposal soon.
