Although the carrier has yet to update its webstore, the phone is part of the new Smartphone Lite category of affordably priced Smartphone options.
The Xperia mini pro is available in black and comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard for faster messaging.
The phone features a sleek compact design and is equipped with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU.
The latest addition to the Xperia family runs Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread and integrates imaging and display technology from Sony, including a 5-megapixel camera, a 3-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and HD video recording (720p).
The phone's main camera features LED flash, autofocus, image stabilization, as well as smile and face detection.

Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro allows users to access over 200,000 apps on the Android Market and provides an improved user interface that allows up to 16 apps to be displayed on the home screen.
Connectivity options include features such as HSDPA (7.2Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support and built-in GPS.
