It looks like someone got hold of Sony Ericsson W890i way before the phone's official release or even announcement. Some leaked images of the handset have sprung over the Internet recently and now we have some information related to its performances from a Polish site.

Sony Ericsson W890i reveals some pretty impressive specifications, showing a Walkman phone highly capable when it comes to taking captures as well. The handset has a menu layout like that found on Sony Ericsson K850i. Moreover, its slimness is even greater than previously thought, as those who had the chance of getting the phone state that its thickness is of only 9.6 mm.

The phone seems to be quite responsive to commands and also has a 2 inch QVGA display, rather small, by most standards. Sony Ericsson W890i has a 3.2 megapixel camera, much more than anyone might expect from a Walkman phone. Still, it lacks the special features, such as AutoFocus and macro, which have turned it into a handset capable of standing comparison with a Cyber-shot.

The phone's strongest point is, by far, that of rendering music, as it also comes equipped with a media player version 3.0. The radio also sounds good and adds to the appealing entertainment offer of this Sony Ericsson W890i handset.

Another impressive feature is that the mobile phone is capable of supporting mobile TV through UMTS technology. The quality is said to be good, although that's unlikely to happen with such a small display screen. Overall, the phone is compact and stylish, as well as powerful and with a great number of talents.

Rumor has it that Sony Ericsson W890i will be officially announced on the 15th of November. That's a long time to wait, especially for those who are looking forward to seeing a new impressive handset release from Sony Ericsson.
