Although the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman smartphone was launched in India back in June, the phone was only available via several major retailers.

While the handset is available for purchase in India from Flipkart and Letsbuy for Rs. 10,950 (about $245) without contract, it appears that Reliance 3G has a slightly better deal, as it offers the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman for only Rs. 9,995 outright (about $222).

Furthermore, Reliance 3G retails the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone with a ‘100% money back offer’ in India.

The “100% money back offer” is valid for prepaid and postpaid connections. On the former, 3G customers pay Rs. 999 in monthly rentals for a period of 24 months.
