Sony Ericsson has yet another goodie up its sleeve, the AB900, a Bluetooth Car Speakerphone that allows users to transform their car into their own wireless jukebox by playing favorite songs while safely making or receiving calls. The new AB900 can stream songs from the mobile phone while also broadcasting them loud and clear over the car's audio system.

In addition, the Bluetooth Car Speakerphone's RDS feature allows users to stream their favorite tunes through the car speakers without having to search for the right frequency. At the same time, users can remain focused on the road, with a call-handling display showing five favorite numbers as well as voicemail at the touch of a button.

The AB900 makes hands-free calling easier and safer than ever. When an incoming call is taken, the music will pause and will resume as soon as the call ends. In addition, the device offers up to 26 hours of talk time, as well as 40 days of standby time, eliminating the need of continuously having the charger at hand to stay connected.

The new device does not require a special installation process to be performed. Moreover, users can easily switch vehicles, and, the best part about it, they can even take it into the office to make conference calls, or at home for chatting over the hands-free.

“In line with increasing legislation around the world preventing the use of phones in the car environment, Sony Ericsson offers a range of easy-to-install car speaker phones that facilitate a complete in-car experience when driving and talking. The AB-900 is perfect for consumers who are on the road often and want to optimise their time in the car, staying safe as they stay in touch or enjoying their music whenever and wherever the road takes them,” stated Jacob Sten, head of the accessories division at Sony Ericsson.

Sony Ericsson has an extensive portfolio of in-car accessories, which sports hands-free devices that enable users to communicate safely while driving.
