Sony Erricson has come up with yet another gadget. The manufacturer has announced on Monday its latest Walkman model, the W600, which has all the prerequisites to become a smashing success.

This all-in-one device is able to do so many things that is becomes relatively difficult to place it within a category of devices. It handles phone calls while you listen to music (podcasts also available), can take high quality pictures, record video clips and it is also a small 3D gaming console and Internet browsing centre.

"The W600 demonstrates the vision when we combined Sony and Ericsson. Now consumers can use their mobile phone to easily access their favorite music any where any time" said Miles Flint, president of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.

The W600 is a 2'nd generation open-standard-based digital music player, which offers some very important features as software to copy music to the device, music storage capacity & long battery life, sound quality with headphones and built-in stereo speakers, but also the possibility to connect to other devices via Bluetooth?.

Sony Ericsson's Walkman phone has a unique music / flight mode setting, which allows it to turn off the mobile phone transmitter, so that users can listen to music whenever and wherever they want. It has a huge storage capacity for a cell phone, being able to keep up to 120 songs in its memory.

The W600 supports Bluetooth wireless functionality to connect other Bluetooth enabled devices such as photo printers and headsets or for peer-to-peer gaming. USB plug and play allows consumers to move images, music, and video between a PC and the W600.
