Several new rumors on the G705 remix, the Sony Ericsson Rika walkman model, are now  making the rounds. However, first of all, let's recap how it all started with this phone: sometime in  mid September, a photo showing what seemed to be a G705 was leaked. The difference was the silver aluminum color and the Walkman logos all over it, which led to the conclusion that this was going to be a music version of Sony Ericson's G705.

Now, the Rika (since it seems this is the codename for this phone) has made yet another surprise appearance. This time around, it changed its looks, and went from aluminum silver to dark red. If we are to compare the silver with the red version, we instantly notice that the former seemed a bit more futuristic, while the red makes the device look more like... plain plastic. Then again, considering the fact that the phone is not on the market yet, or even announced, things might change drastically.

Little we know about Sony Ericsson Rika, yet some facts are almost certain or, at least, as “certain” as rumors can be. Here it goes nonetheless: Rika is expected to feature a 2.4-inch display, 3.2 megapixel camera  with flash, built-in GPS, and 128MB  of internal memory along with a memory card slot for more storage space.

This phone is really coming about, but also raising many questions in the process. One thing that can be spotted in the photo, though, is the fact that TH GSM is written on the display. TH is a mobile network from Thailand, where Sony Ericsson happens to have a manufacturing facility, so this makes it almost sure that the photo leaked was snapped there by one of the employees testing the phone. Hopefully, the veil of mystery surrounding this device will soon be lifted, and we'll be able to learn more about it.
