Just when you thought that you've had enough rumors about Sony Ericsson phones to last for the whole year, a couple of other phones have been added to the list of handsets to be released.

Apparently, the mobile phone manufacturer is planning to introduce two new handsets during May, dubbed Shinobu and Nicole. Also, according to the rumors, these two phones will finally sport that modified UI everyone has been waiting for and a slight change in the design of the keypad as well as the addition of dial-hang up keys.

The watermark on the screens of the two phones is supposed to be the Sony Ericsson one, but honesty, would the manufacturer actually leak photos of its handsets, or place such a blurred watermark on the photos?

As usual, little is known about the handsets' features. The Shinobu is said to come in a 12.5mm thick case, include a 2.4-inch screen with a QVGA resolution, HSDPA capabilities and a 2-megapixel camera. It will supposedly become available at a price of around $550. Sony Ericsson's other rumored handset, the Nicole will be a WCDMA candybar, just 0.5mm thicker than the Shinobu, and pack a 2.1-inch screen with 176 x 220 pixel resolution and a 2-megapixel camera. It'll be more of a mid-level handset, coming with a price tag of around $240. Rumor has it that this might be among the first phones to come as a result of the Sony Ericsson-Sagem partnership.

The same rumors point out that we've yet to wait for the Sophia or Elena, that might not be released in May, along with the aforementioned two handsets. While the Sophia still promises to be one of the cutting-edge handsets of the year, Sony Ericsson will have released a whole set of mid-level handsets until it decides to unveil the one we're all waiting for.
