Rumors and leaked images for Sony Ericsson M610i phone have been going by for some time now. Finally, it looks like this handset has finally been approved by FCC, which means that we can expect it to be announced in the near future.

Sony Ericsson K610i has been code named Lizy or Elena, depending on which best suits those interested. Some specifications about this mobile phone have been already made public, although further leaks should soon be available, as it has been approved by FCC.

The Elena, or Lizy phone is actually the successor of the K600 phone model and comes with several similarities when it comes to appearance. They both feature the same compact QWERTY keypad which has been considered highly comfortable by those who have had the chance of trying it out by now.

Another impressive feature about this phone is made by the 2.6 inch TFT display screen. It may not have touch screen technology, but images and videos will display beautifully on it. Moreover, Sony Ericsson k610i will also include a 3.2 megapixel camera, which will provide captures at a standard above average for its user.

Other rumored specification for this handset also includes the fact that it is capable of WiFi connectivity, which sounds great for reliable fast data transfer. Moreover, it will also come with an FM radio, although it should also include MP3 player performances too. One more thing about this mobile phone is that it will work in GSM networks and it will also be capable of providing HSDPA technology.

Previous rumors have set Sony Ericsson k610i phone for a release sometime in mid-April or May. Those times have long gone and the handset is only being FCC approved. This might mean that an official announcement on this mobile phone might take some time before being made.
