All those rumors floating around the Internet are finally confirmed

After both debunked rumors and more accurate reports, Sony Corporation has finally decided what to do with its personal computing business.

Which is to say, it has decided who would get it. All of it. Including its employees.

Long story short, Sony has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japan Industrial Partners, or JIP for short.

The two companies will conclude definitive agreements by the end of March.

For those who don't know, Sony's PC division is known otherwise as the Vaio PC business arm.

The company has been shipping laptops, desktops and all-in-one PCs under that brand for years. The brand will probably endure past this business agreement with JIP, but there won't be any Sony Vaio systems launched from now on anymore.
