After bragging about its PlayStation Move motion detection peripheral last year through an impressive infographic, Sony is now back, showcasing the 3D capabilities of its PlayStation 3 console.

Sony has been avidly marketing the 3D capabilities of its PlayStation 3 console for quite some time, but only now has there been a big enough audience with compatible 3DTVs connected to the console in order to properly enjoy its offers.

In order to attract them even more, Sony is now bragging about the 3D content it has already released, from Killzone 3 to the special 3D Sneak Peek at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011 issue, which, according to the company, got 83,000 downloads during its first week.

"For fans of immersive entertainment, the PS3’s 2011 lineup of 3D content is looking particularly exciting. We wanted to share a handy graphic that highlights some notable 3D content coming in 2011, and also provide some interesting factoids as the 3D entertainment space accelerates," said the company on the PlayStation blog.

More content will arrive throughout the year, with Sony confirming titles like Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One or SOCOM 4, all with support for full stereoscopic 3D.

You can already enjoy titles with such a feature, from the aforementioned Killzone 3 to the recent MLB 11: The Show.

The PlayStation 3's 3D capabilities extend beyond simple 3D gaming, with Sony quick to point out that through the PlayStation Network you can access lots of 3D movies and original content.

Purists will also be thrilled on April 5, when Tron: Legacy will be released on a 3D Blu-ray disc, playable only on the PlayStation 3.

Sony concludes its bragging by saying that the "PS3 continues to serve as the home for all things 3D entertainment."
