Sony has teased the crowd present at IFA 2013 with three convertible hybrids, the VAIO Flip 13A, 14A and 15A and the VAIO Tap 11 tablet, but it gave no hints of price range or when customers will be able to see them on retail shelves.

Now the company has confirmed availability for the products, with the Flip line and the slate being available towards the end of October, Slashgear reports. Pricing range for the hybrids will start from $749 / €555, while the VAIO Tap 11 will be costing $799 / €592.

As a quick reminder, the Flip line includes three models, a 13.3-inch one, a 14-inch one and a 15.5-inch one. Resolution start at 1920 x 1080, but there's the possibility of enhancing it up to 2880 x 1620.

Sony has packed Core i3-4005U, Core i5-4200U and Core i7-4500U options under the bonnet, with HD 4400 graphics being the standard. Some models can be tweaked in the processor or graphics department, however.

The Sony slate features an 11-inch Full HD screen and an extremely thin frame. Sony actually claims that this is the world’s thinnest Windows 8 tablet. Here users also have a range of choice processor-wise, between the Pentium 3560Y, Core i34020Y, Core i5-4120Y or core i7-4610Y coupled with 4GB of RAM. Options for internal storage include 128GB, 246GB or 512GB. In the graphics department one will find Intel HD or Intel HD 4200 chipsets.
