These test results are more than promising and make the upcoming Sony A7R claim the spot for the best mirrorless camera on the market at a price way below Nikon's top DSLRs.
Today, Sony Korea released the first unboxing video on its official YouTube channel. As we can see from the clip, the new Sony A7R camera looks very good and doesn't become unbalanced when combined with the large Sony 28-70mm FE f/3.5-5.6 OSS lens.
The camera is now available for pre-order in Sony's European store for a price of €2,099 / £1,699 / $2,729, significantly more expensive comparing with the prices most US stores are displaying – $2,299.99 / €1,700.
