We have no way of telling whether this information is accurate or not, at the moment

Earlier this week I told you Sony’s A6000 camera, which was introduced back in February, has reportedly started shipping out to customers in Europe and Asia.

Now according to recent information provided by the old faithful SonyAlphaRumors suggests pre-orders for the Sony A6000 could start arriving to some consumers as soon as next week.

Sony’s US webpage suggests the camera is pegged for release on April 15, while third-party retailers like Amazon and BHPhotos have the date stretched as far as 20 and 23 of April respectively.

But it appears a select batch will be reaching a lucky few early adopters of the camera days ahead of the official announcement.

We don’t have any way of confirming the rumor is true, so keep your fingers crossed and hope to get an early email from Sony saying the camera has been shipped out

As a reminder, the A6000 is Sony’s new mirrorless camera, which should be positioned between the Sony NEX-5T and Sony A65 DSLR.

The product bundles a 24.3MP sensor and its ISO can go as far as 25,600, allowing photographers to take pictures in low-lighting conditions without setting off the flash.

The Sony A6000 will take you back with $800 / €578 for the bundle with the lens and just $650 / €470 for the body-only pack.
