Some time ago, when I first told you about the Sony A5100, there was also info about an upcoming successor of the QX10 smart lens-style camera.

The device had been dubbed Sony QX30 and is expected to come with support for 30X optical zoom and with optical zoom and ultra-compact cylindrical body. The QX30 arrives with NFC and Wi-Fi.

Both the A5100 and QX30 showed up with the Radio Research Agency in Korea and since the first one will be announced in a week’s time, the QX30 might not lag behind a lot.

I’ll update you as soon as info about the specs of the new A5100 surface online.
