The A5000 will be available with single and double lens kits

Sony A5000 has been recently revealed at CES 2014, and now the Nippon electronics maker has announced that the newest E-mount interchangeable lens camera will be available in Japan starting February 7.

As of now, the A5000 is the world's smallest and lightest mirrorless camera on the market. It comes packed with a 20.1MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor powered by a BIONZ X image processor that features enhanced low-light capabilities and increased ISO sensitivity of up to ISO16,000.

Furthermore, the new APS-C E-mount camera is equipped with a tiltable LCD monitor that can be flipped at 180 degrees, allowing you to easily take self-portraits.

In addition to that, Sony A5000 also comes with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities and NFC (Near Field Communication) support that will help you connect and share your photos to a smartphone or tablet in an instant.

The camera's price in Japan will be around ¥53,000, which is $500 / €375 for the power zoom lens kit and ¥78,000 / $750 / €550 for the double zoom lens kit. The price announced for the US market is around $600 / €440 for the 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS retractable zoom lens kit.
