14 DAY TRIAL // Sony online stores around Europe have listed the new Sony 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 FE lens for pre-order at a price of €499 / $675. According to each store's listing, the lens will be shipped starting mid-February.
Sony A7 and A7R have recently hit store shelves in Asia and Europe, while US residents must wait until December 1 to get their hands on the world's first full frame mirrorless camera.
The cameras are available either body-only for $1,699.99 / €1,258 and $2,299.99 / €1,700 respectively, or bundled with the new Sony 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 FE lens.
This new Sony lens was never available for individual purchase, but it seems that as soon as the cameras hit stores, the SEL-2870 was also added for pre-order after a few days.
Sony A7 and A7R received positive test results regarding image quality, comparable with Nikon's D800 and D800E full frame DSLR cameras.
