The phone that will survive to anything

There's a phone for every type of personality, or so it seems. There's the girlish pink phone, the business one, the plain one that never stands out and Sonim XP1's rugged phone.

XP1 stands for Xperience One, as this Sonim phone is supposed to provide its user the most appropriate device to use in any situation, as extreme as it may be. This comes as Sonim XP1 has protection against water, dust, salt, fog and humidity. Just think of the possibilities. You will be able to take it on a desert expedition, climbing a salt mountain and even in a rain forest. If the user is capable of all these, Sonim XP1's producers promise that this phone will manage to keep up.

The mobile phone's design is a bit bulky, but with highly useful features. In fact, it comes in a rubber casing which will make sure that the phone won't slip from the user's hands while trying to place a call with wet hands. Even more, it has striations that will definitely provide enough adherence.

It may look like a walkie-talkie, but, in fact, it has all the features of a regular mobile phone, one with low performances that does not provide the more popular facilities, such as email or even a camera. Still, it has a USB charging port and a 2.5 mm universal headset port. Moreover, it provides mobile Internet services through WAP 2.0, which might come in handy in order to find out where the closest slope for skiing is or whether a storm will soon come on sea.

Mountain climbing equipment might turn out expensive. For a mobile phone with these capabilities, Sonim XP1 is at its 233.83 pounds price, too. Still, as an extreme sports gear, it's well worth the money, especially if you frequently happen to drop your mobile phone in sand dunes or on solid rock.
