The Wii Shop Channel has some new and interesting titles ready for download. As always, the Virtual Console release outshines the WiiWare titles offered. Get ready to spend some Wii Points on the games listed below.

Snowboard Riot is developed by Hudson Entertainment and can be played by as little as just one and as many as four players. The game is a snowboard arcade title that allows players to race while also doing battle with one another. The game can support input from the Balance Board in order to create a more faithful simulation of gliding down a slope. It seems that Snowboard Riot is something like Mario Kart Wii on show, as it involves power ups and, probably, something resembling a Blue Shell. The game costs 1,000 Wii Points.

LONPOS, which has been created by Nintendo and only costs 800 Wii Points, is a puzzle game that can offer entertainment to as many as four players. The playing field is made up of 55 spaces and the player has access to a set of 12 pieces. The goal is to get rid of all of them by placing them in the playing field. The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection of the home console can be used by players to compare, in the leaderboards, with how other LONPOS players have done, while also downloading new puzzles and game backgrounds.

On the Virtual Console, Wii players can get their hands on an old favorite - Sonic Chaos. The game was initially created for the SEGA Master System and only supports single player play. The title costs just 500 Wii Points and allows the game to play as either Sonic or his side kick Tails as they try to stop Eggman/Robotnik as he tries to use the Red Chaos Emerald in order to create nuclear weapon (apparently, the Emerald is a substitute for plutonium).
