Nintendo has once again update the WiiWare and DSiWare online services with new downloadable games, but this time we're treated with the highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, a classic side scrolling title featuring the Sega mascot.

Sonic The Hedgehod 4 Episode 1 will act as a sequel to Sonic and Knuckles, and once again see Sonic face off against the evil Dr. Eggman.

The game is filled with remastered levels from all classic Sonic side scrolling games, and the character is also equipped with new moves such as the Spin Dash or the Homing Attack.

Sonic The Hedgehod 4 Episode 1 is now available for download on the WiiWare service for 1,500 Wii Points.

Besides that, Wii owners will also dowload Triple Jumping Sports from Code Monkeys, for just 500 Wii Points.

The title will task players with completing some of the most important jumping events like the Long or High Jump, or the Pole Vault, and be able to control elements like speed, height, angle or distance.

Nintendo DSi owners will also get a few interesting titles, with Ivy the Kiwi Mini leading the way.

In this game, players will control Ivy the Kiwi as she goes through more than 50 stages to help find her mother, jumping with the help of vines as she can't actually fly.

Ivy the Kiwi will be available for 500 DSi points.

Next up, DS owners can enjoy Datamine, a classic puzzle game with over 100 levels through which you must guide a safety inspector that wants to prevent a world cataclysm by solving all of these tasks.

Datamine is available for purchase for just 500 DSi Points.

Last but not least, we have G.G. Series Super Hero Ogre, a side scrolling fighting game in which you play a hero that must defeat an evil army, and, like the name of the game suggests, become Super-cool in the process.

The game is priced at an even more affordable 200 DSi Points, and like all of the above, is available for download on the WiiWare or DSiWare online systems.
