After pressuring his dad for a while to get a hearing aid, Danny found out that it was actually better without it, as his father was more likable without hearing everything he said.

Regretting to have pestered his father into getting “supersonic ears” and in order to better express his feelings towards the new change, the young man decided to write his parent a song to tell him he liked him better when he was deaf.

His Christmas gift “celebrating his [Dad's] newfound sense” is hilarious and reached 800,000 views on YouTube in just a few days.

With lyrics like “It used to be if I'd run out of anything to say, I could just mumble and you'd usually go away” or “Living in a nightmare, why it's every son's worst fear, To have a dad forever clad with supersonic ears,” the song got praises from thousands of viewers.

Hopefully, his dad understood that the song was an affectionate gesture and his son didn't mean to offend. But with his new super ears, he surely heard the love in his boy's voice.
