One of the most innovative mobile game concepts

Eidos Interactive will bring the SolaRola mobile game on handsets everywhere in the near future. Their concept is an innovative and captivating one, as this game greatly differs from any other one on cell phones.

SolaRola features two extremely simple heroes, Wiz and Waz, set on a race to save the Universe from the evil plans of Ping the Merciless. The two characters can be best described as colored blobs, highly expressive and with cute reactions to what is going on around them.

"SolaRola is a compelling mix of puzzles and action. Objects and characters can be freely scaled and rotated bringing something a bit different to mobile games. Wiz and Waz are funny guys, or rather blobs, and a welcome addition to the Eidos team!", considers Simon Protheroe, New Media and IT Director at Eidos.

The feature which sets this game apart from any other ones developed for mobile phones is that it uses colorful and dynamic graphics. The cartoon-like drawing of the two characters and the environment makes this a highly fun and enjoyable game, just as a child's play. Still, the challenge stands beyond that level, as saving the galaxy proves to be one truly difficult thing. There is a total of 25 levels to complete the game's task. This follows the line of an amusing story, written by Andrew S Walsh. This, combined with the evolved graphics certainly adds a certain charm to the SolaRola mobile game. The two characters, Wiz and Waz, can be freely scaled and rotated, enabling a number of effects and visual tools to make gameplay easier and considerably more fun.

There is one more special feature that this game has to bring for its players. Wiz and Waz's Rocketship also contains a Holodeck, a virtual playroom that only Wiz can enter to play around with the physics of objects he collects during his adventures.

SolaRola will be available for a large number of handset models starting September, this year.
