Gorgeous Columbian actress Sofia Vergara has name-picked Madonna in an interview about Hollywood’s obsession with plastic surgery and eternal youth, saying she’s a freak.

It’s not uncommon for female stars who have had either a minimum of surgical interventions for cosmetic reasons or none at all to speak against the rather pointless endeavor to appear young.

Mrs. Vergara, though, has never been quite so vehement about it – and has certainly never picked on Madonna herself to say that Hollywood has taken obsession with youth way too far.

In a recent interview (as cited by the Daily Mail), Sofia was asked about how life in LA was like – and she held nothing back in replying that it was madness trying to keep up with the ladies out there.

“LA is crazy. The women all look the same now,” Sofia says about how plastic surgery is on the rise now – so much so that, as we also reported a while back, even teens are going under the knife to be able to cope with the pressure.

“That thing with the cheeks. Like Madonna. Who do they think they’re fooling? It doesn’t make them look young. You end up looking like a freak,” the actress and model adds.

So far, Madonna has not yet responded to the “provocation” though, knowing her and how she’s determined not to even address rumors about her having work done, she probably never will get back with an answer to Sofia.

However, this is not the first time that Madonna makes headlines in recent weeks more or less against her will, since “Inception” star Tom Hardy also compared her in an interview to a “ghost.”

The two met while Hardy was working with the singer’s husband Guy Ritchie on “RocknRolla” and, one day, Madonna simply showed up on the set. Instead of staying for a meet and greet, Hardy completely lost it and hid from her until he though she’d gone.

As it turned out, she came back later and, inevitably, Tom had to try his best to do small talk. He was starstruck, he admitted, but he did not fall prey to Madonna’s charms – for the simple reason that she’s old.

“She left me starstruck. I did what anyone who can’t deal with the situation does: I went and hid in the Range Rover,” Hardy said.

“She’s just someone’s mum to me and she looks like a ghost. I didn’t see her as a [sensual] creature. There was a time when I really would’ve gone there but since [she appeared in] the Justin Timberlake video, leaping over cars and things, I just think, ‘Enough now’,” the actor added.
